Accessibility statement

Our conformance target, an honest account of where we stand today, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Corvus Homes, LLC wants every guest and every property owner to be able to use corvushomes.com — to browse our homes, request an estimate, sign an agreement, and reach us — regardless of how they browse the web.

Conformance target

We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Those guidelines are the standard most widely used to make web content usable by people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Current status

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we are actively remediating. Partially conformant means some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. We would rather tell you that plainly than claim a level of conformance we have not verified.

Work already in place across the site:

A "Skip to content" link that moves keyboard focus past the navigation to the main content of every page.
A visible focus indicator on every link, button, and form control, checked to meet the 3:1 minimum contrast against its background.
Text and interface colours checked against the WCAG contrast formula and adjusted where they fell short.
Form labels, required-field markers, and validation errors that are announced by screen readers, not signalled by colour or placeholder text alone.
Animation, the homepage slideshow, and parallax effects that stop when your device or browser requests reduced motion.

Known areas we are still working on:

Contrast of the navigation bar where it sits over full-bleed photography before you scroll, which depends on the individual image.
The card payment form, which is rendered by our payment processor inside an embedded frame we do not fully control.
Alternative text on a small number of decorative and gallery images, which we are reviewing image by image.

Service animals

Service animals are welcome at every Corvus Homes stay — with no fee, no advance notice, and no breed or size limits. Our service animal policy sets out what we may and may not ask, and discloses the dogs that live at our Evergreen home.

Third-party content

Some content is provided by third parties — the embedded card-payment form, external booking listings, and links to products on retailers' own sites. We do not control the accessibility of those services, but we will help you complete anything you cannot finish on your own, including taking a booking or a payment over the phone.

Reporting a barrier

If anything on this site blocks you, please tell us. Describe the page and what happened, and we will work with you directly to get you what you needed.

We aim to acknowledge every accessibility report within five business days, and to tell you either that the barrier is fixed or what our plan and timeline for fixing it are. If we cannot fix something quickly, we will offer another way to get you the same information or complete the same task.
